ZTE Blade A55 Disassembly Guide: Full Teardown Step by Step

This is a full disassembly (teardown) guide for the ZTE Blade A55, based on the teardown reference. Use it to open the phone for a screen, battery, charging port or mainboard repair — the ZTE Blade A55 runs on the Unisoc SC9863A and secures its internals with 17 screws on the middle frame. Work slowly around the ribbon cables (FPCs) and the 5000 mAh battery.

Tools you need

  • Anti-static gloves and an anti-static wrist strap
  • Tweezers
  • A small Phillips screwdriver
  • A plastic housing opening tool and a thin plastic card
  • SIM/microSD card tray eject tool
  • A heating table or heat source to soften the battery/cover adhesive

💡 Opening the phone breaks the anti-dismantle tag and voids the warranty. Check the warranty and waterproof tags before a warranty repair.
