ZTE Blade V60 Disassembly Guide: Full Teardown Step by Step

This is a full disassembly (teardown) guide for the ZTE Blade V60, based on the teardown reference. Use it to open the phone for a screen, battery, charging port or mainboard repair — the ZTE Blade V60 runs on the Unisoc T616 and secures its internals with 17 screws on the middle frame. Work slowly around the ribbon cables (FPCs) and the 5000 mAh battery.

Tools you need

  • Anti-static gloves and an anti-static wrist strap
  • Tweezers
  • A small Phillips screwdriver
  • A plastic housing opening tool and a thin plastic card
  • SIM/microSD card tray eject tool
  • A heating table or heat source to soften the battery/cover adhesive

💡 Opening the phone breaks the anti-dismantle tag and voids the warranty. Check the warranty and waterproof tags before a warranty repair.

Disassembly steps

  1. Remove the card tray.
  2. Place the phone on the heating table with the screen facing up for 3 to 5 minutes at 80°C.
  3. Use the suction cup to pull up the battery cover and insert the housing disassembly tool. Then use the tool to separate the cover from the phone. NOTE: Take care not to damage the fingerprint FPC when the housing disassembly tool get close to the Power key.
  4. Heat the camera decoration piece and remove it with a thin plastic tool.
  5. Unfasten the 17 screws on the middle frame.
  6. Unlock the middle frame from the front cover. Do not stretch the fingerprint FPC.
  7. Disconnect the fingerprint module from the mainboard to remove the middle frame.
  8. Poke the Power key inside to remove the fingerprint module from the middle frame.
  9. Remove the flash FPC from the middle frame.
  10. Disconnect the battery from the mainboard.
  11. Place the phone screen down on the heating table for 3 to 5 minutes at 80°C. Then use a thin plastic card to separate the battery from the sides.
  12. Disconnect the RF cable and the two connectors of the main FPC from the mainboard.
  13. Unfasten the screw securing the mainboard.
  14. Remove the mainboard. Note the front cover locks on both sides.
  15. Remove the speaker box.
  16. Disconnect the FPC connector and the RF cable from the sub-board. Remove the RF cable.
  17. Remove the sub-board from the left side. Note the front cover lock on the right side.
  18. Remove the receiver.
  19. Remove the vibrator.
  20. Remove the golden contacts of the SKFPC from the front cover.
  21. Remove the SKFPC from the side of the front cover.
  22. Disconnect and remove the front camera and the main back camera from the mainboard.
  23. Disconnect and remove the other back camera modules from the other side of the mainboard.

💡 After any disassembly that touches the rear cameras, run camera calibration (*#*#83788#*#*) so photos stay sharp.
