🔁 How to Fix a Bootloop on Infinix, Tecno & iTel Phones
A bootloop is when your phone keeps restarting or gets stuck on the logo and never reaches the home screen. It is usually caused by a failed update, a bad app, or corrupted system files. Try these steps from easiest to most thorough.
⚠ Important. A factory reset and flashing both erase your data. Try the wipe cache step first, which keeps your files.
What you need
- USB cable
- A Windows PC (for flashing)
Steps
- Force restart. Hold the Power button for 10-20 seconds to force a restart. Sometimes a single stuck boot clears on its own.
- Boot into Recovery. Power off, then hold Power + Volume Up together until the recovery menu appears. Use the volume keys to navigate and Power to select.
- Wipe cache partition. Choose "Wipe cache partition" and confirm. This clears temporary system files without deleting your data, and fixes many bootloops.
- Factory reset (if cache wipe fails). Still in Recovery, choose "Wipe data / factory reset". This deletes your data but often clears a stubborn bootloop caused by corrupted settings or apps.
- Flash stock firmware (last resort). If the phone still loops, the system partition is corrupted. Download the matching stock firmware from ROM Palace and follow our flashing guide to reinstall the software.
Tips & troubleshooting
- If the loop started right after installing an app or update, a factory reset almost always fixes it.
- If the phone overheats or the loop is random, check the battery and charging port too.
