🩹 How to Unbrick a Dead Infinix, Tecno or iTel Phone

A "bricked" phone appears dead — black screen, no logo, or stuck and unresponsive. Most bricks are "soft bricks" caused by a failed flash or update, and can be recovered by flashing stock firmware. A true "hard brick" (no PC detection at all) may need special tools.

Important. This process erases data. It only works on soft-bricked devices that the PC can still detect in flash mode.

What you need

Steps

  1. Check the phone is detectable. Connect the powered-off phone to your PC. If Windows makes a connect sound or shows a MediaTek/Preloader device (even briefly), it is a soft brick and recoverable.
  2. Install MediaTek USB drivers. Install the VCOM / preloader drivers so SP Flash Tool can talk to the phone during the short detection window.
  3. Download and extract stock firmware. From ROM Palace, download the exact firmware for your model, then extract it to find the scatter file.
  4. Load firmware in SP Flash Tool. Open SP Flash Tool, load the scatter file, and select "Firmware Upgrade" for the most reliable recovery.
  5. Flash and revive. Click Download, connect the dead phone, and wait for the green "Download Ok" tick. Unplug and hold Power to boot. The first boot may take several minutes.
