⚡ How to Flash Stock Firmware on Infinix, Tecno & iTel (SP Flash Tool)

Lire ce guide en Français →

Flashing stock firmware reinstalls the original software on your phone. It can fix a device stuck on the logo, revert a bad update, or restore a phone to factory condition. Most Infinix, Tecno and iTel phones use MediaTek chips and flash with SP Flash Tool. Read every step before you start.

Important. Flashing erases your data and can brick your phone if you use the wrong firmware or disconnect mid-flash. Back up first, charge above 50%, and download the ROM that matches your exact model code.

What you need

Steps

  1. Download the correct firmware. Find your exact model on ROM Palace and download the stock firmware that matches your model code and region. Using the wrong firmware is the number-one cause of a bricked device.
  2. Extract the firmware. Unzip the downloaded archive. Inside you will find a scatter file (a text file with "scatter" in its name) and several image files. Keep them together in one folder.
  3. Install MediaTek USB drivers. On your Windows PC, install the MediaTek USB VCOM / preloader drivers so the computer can detect your phone in flash mode. Restart the PC if needed.
  4. Open SP Flash Tool and load the scatter. Launch SP Flash Tool, click "Choose" next to Scatter-loading File, and select the scatter file from your firmware folder. The partition list will load automatically.
  5. Pick the flash mode. Select "Download Only" to keep your data where possible, or "Firmware Upgrade" for a clean install. Avoid "Format All + Download" unless you know what you are doing — it wipes everything including IMEI backups.
  6. Flash the phone. Power off the phone. Click "Download" in SP Flash Tool, then connect the powered-off phone with the USB cable. The tool detects it and flashes. Do not touch the cable until you see a green tick ("Download Ok").
  7. Boot up. Disconnect and power on the phone. The first boot after a firmware upgrade can take several minutes — this is normal. Your device now runs clean stock firmware.
