🔓 How to Remove FRP (Google Account Lock) After a Reset
FRP (Factory Reset Protection) is a security feature that asks for the previously synced Google account after a factory reset. It protects your phone if it is lost or stolen. If it is your own device, here is how to get back in legitimately.
⚠ Important. FRP exists to stop thieves. Only bypass it on a phone you own. The reliable, permanent fix is signing in with the original Google account.

Steps
- Sign in with the original account. The intended solution: enter the Google account (and password) that was signed in on the phone before the reset. This clears FRP instantly and permanently.
- Recover the account if forgotten. If you forgot the password, use Google Account Recovery on another device to reset it, then sign in on the phone.
- Flash firmware that resets FRP state. On your own device, flashing the matching stock firmware with "Firmware Upgrade" reinstalls the system cleanly. Combined with signing into your account, this resolves lock states caused by a bad reset.
- Contact the seller for used phones. If you bought the phone second-hand and it is FRP-locked, ask the previous owner to remove the account remotely from their Google account, or return it. This is the only proper route.
